Claremont McKenna College Model United Nations

Claremont McKenna College Model United Nations (CMCMUN) competes nationally and internationally and is ranked as high as #5 in North America for the past two seasons of in-person competition. Competing on the CMCMUN team allows students to hone leadership, communication, and critical problem-solving skills that help them gain jobs and fellowships after graduation. Team members travel to several conferences each semester to debate with other students from around the world. In addition, CMCMUN also hosts its very own conference at CMC for high school students called McKennaMUN.

Claremont International Relations Society (CIRS)

CIRS is a student-run organization of Claremont McKenna College. Our mission is to enhance the experiences of students interested in international relations by organizing conferences, simulations, and talks to supplement the theory and knowledge learned in class. We seek to increase campus awareness of global affairs and events. We work very closely with the Keck Center for International and Strategic Studies and this relationship gives CIRS members access to unique opportunities.
